As Membrillo is to quinces, so Perada is to pears – a sliceable fruit ‘cheese’ made from pears, which is a great addition to your cheese board. Try it with Stilton, a fine combination.
The large size is sealed in a jar; the small size is moulded into a cake shape and wrapped in greaseproof paper.
Ingredients: pears, sugar, Bramley apples, lemon juice. Prepared with 115g fruit per 100g. Total sugar content: 81g per 100g.
