I run a food business from home called Fiodra Fine Foods. This is registered with Haringey Council and has a 5-star ‘very good’ food hygiene rating.

I have a Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene for Catering certificate, awarded in November 2017 (updated October 2024). I follow the Food Standard Agency’s guidance on good hygiene practices in food preparation and their Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) processes.

For some years I sold my home-made jam through the hatch of my partner’s boat, Barge Fiodra.

With the first Covid-19 lockdown, we were temporarily stopped from travelling on the boat, so I decided to branch out, set up this website and deliver my jam locally!

As it’s quite a small-scale, one-woman business, taking on a delivery partner would pretty much wipe out any profit. Hence I’m doing my own delivery, by bike, in my local area.
